Scan Resolution
Our end-to-end workflow takes you from a physical object to a production-ready file — or all the way to a finished printed part.
STEP 01
You bring us the part — or a photo, measurements, and a description. We evaluate the geometry, condition, and the best approach to capture it accurately.
STEP 02
We use structured light scanning to capture the part's exact geometry at ±0.05mm accuracy. Every surface, every hole, every curve — captured as a high-resolution point cloud.
STEP 03
The scan data is converted into a clean, editable CAD model. We can reproduce the original exactly, or modify the design — add strength, improve fit, or integrate new features.
STEP 04
You receive production-ready files in your preferred format: STL for printing, STEP for CNC or further engineering, OBJ for visualization. The files are yours to keep.
STEP 05
Need the part printed? We go straight from scan to production — no hand-offs, no waiting. Most parts ship within 3–5 business days.
The manufacturer stopped making it. We scan the original (even if it's broken), rebuild it in CAD, and print a replacement in a material that's often better than the original.
Compare a physical part against the original CAD model to check for wear, warping, or manufacturing defects. Get a deviation report with color-mapped accuracy data.
Digitize parts that only exist as physical objects — no drawings, no CAD files, no specs. We create a complete digital record so the part can be reproduced anytime.
Start from a scan of an existing part, then modify the design — add mounting holes, change dimensions, reinforce weak points, or adapt it for a different application.
Scan a hand-carved or clay model and convert it to a printable CAD file. Iterate on the design digitally, then print production-quality prototypes.
Scan multiple components in their installed positions to capture how they fit together. Essential for creating replacement parts that need to interface with existing hardware.
Helm components, deck hardware, brackets, bezels, discontinued boat parts
Intake adapters, dash trim, custom brackets, interior panels, vintage car parts
Jigs, fixtures, machine guards, enclosures, tooling components
Decorative elements, hardware reproductions, custom fittings
Some parts can't come to us — they're bolted to a hull, mounted in an engine bay, or built into a structure. We bring the scanner to you.
On-site scanning is available throughout Southwest Florida — Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island, and surrounding areas. For high-value or fleet projects, we'll travel statewide and beyond. Contact us for scheduling and pricing.
Send us a photo or description and we'll let you know the best approach — in-shop or on-site, scan-only or full scan-to-part. No obligation.
